FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: ball valve includes housing consisting of lower nipple part and upper coupling part, which are connected to each other by means of cylindrical thread. Ball with a central hole is installed in the bore of lower nipple part of housing with possibility of rotation. Spindle in the form of stepped bushing is arranged coaxially to ball in lower nipple part of housing with possibility of rotation. Longitudinal slot is made on side surface of ball on the spindle side symmetrically to diametral plane and perpendicular to central hole of the ball. Projection is made on inner edge of spindle and interacts with the above longitudinal slot. Upper and lower seats interact with the ball. Elastic deformable element pressing the seats to the ball in the form of a ring from elastomer is installed in the bore of the housing. Ball turning limit stop is fixed in the wall of lower nipple part of housing coaxially to the ball. The above limit stop is made in the form of a ring with projection on external surface, the lateral edges of which are mutually perpendicular. Symmetry axis of its lateral edges is located at an angle of 45 to longitudinal axis of housing and directed downwards. Spindle is arranged in the bore of ball turning limit stop. Recess is made on side surface of the ball on the spindle side above longitudinal slot. Lateral edges of the recess are parallel and axisymmetrical to longitudinal slot of the ball, and when the ball is turned through 90, they interact with lateral edges of ball turning limit stop. ^ EFFECT: improving operating reliability and safety of the ball; enlarging its operating capabilities. ^ 6 dwg |
