<p>Provided is a soundproofing device provided with a Helmholtz resonator, the soundproofing device capable of obtaining a soundproofing effect in a wider frequency range than those of conventional ones. A soundproofing device (36) is provided with a Helmholtz resonator (34) in which a cavity (40) and a tubular opening (44) for causing part of the cavity (40) to communicate with the outside are formed, and a sound emission part (32) to be soundproofed is provided in the cavity (40) of the Helmholtz resonator (34). Therefore, in a frequency range higher than a Helmholtz resonance frequency (fh), the higher the frequency of radiated sound from the sound emission part (32), the lower the amplification factor by which the radiated sound is amplified becomes, and when a predetermined boundary frequency (f0) higher than resonance frequency (fh) is defined as a boundary, the amplification factor is lower than 0 dB in a frequency range higher than the boundary frequency (f0). Consequently, the soundproofing device (36) can obtain a soundproofing effect in a wider frequency range than those of conventional soundproofing devices, that is, in a higher frequency range than the boundary frequency (f0).</p> |
