<p>Provided is a wireless communication apparatus that can suppress the degradation of wireless transmission characteristics during a low-temperature interval, for example, at startup of apparatus. The wireless communication apparatus comprises: an amplifier unit for receiving and amplifying a transmitted signal that is to be transmitted to another apparatus; an attenuator unit that can attenuate the transmitted signal that is to be outputted to the amplifier unit; and a temperature detector unit for detecting the temperature. The attenuator unit attenuates the transmitted signal when the temperature detected by the temperature detector unit is lower than a predetermined value. Also provided is a wireless communication apparatus that can perform a control, for example, attenuation of a transmitted signal with a simple structure. This wireless communication apparatus comprises: a temperature detector unit for outputting a control voltage having a level corresponding to the temperature; a voltage selector unit for selecting either the control voltage outputted by the temperature detector unit or a predetermined voltage; and a wireless transmitter unit for transmitting a wireless signal to another apparatus and for controlling the electric power of the wireless signal on the basis of the voltage selected by the voltage selector unit.</p> |
