Disclosed herein are various examples of a medicated module (400) that can be attached to a drug delivery device such that a user can administer a user settable dose of a first medicament and a fixed dose of a second medicament through a single dispense interface. In one example, the medicated module includes (i) an outer housing (402) having a hub that holds a first needle (406), (ii) a bypass housing (408) including a reservoir (410) containing a second medicament, (iii) a lower hub (414) including a second needle (416), (iv) a slidable needle guard (418) including at least one disengagement member, where the needle guard is configured to activate the medicated module by forcing the bypass housing to disengage from the outer housing at a pre-defined amount of proximal displacement of the needle guard; and (v) a biasing member (420), where the biasing member is configured to place the second needle in fluid communication with the first and second medicaments automatically after activation of the medicated module. |
