PURPOSE: An anti-viral material screening method is provided to simply screen by using large amount and rapid method. CONSTITUTION: An anti-viral material screening method comprises the following steps: processing testing materials which include imiquimod derivative or pharmaceutically acceptable salt on the sensation neuron cells; and analyzing the action potential caused by stimulation of IP3R(inositol trisphosphate receptor) within the sensation neuron cells. When the test material does not generate action potential of the sensation neuron cells, the material is determined as anti-virus material which does not cause ichiness. In the first step, the sensation neuron cell is a sensation neuron cell which expresses TRPV 1(transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1). In the first step, the sensation neuron cell is a sensation neuron cell separated from ganglion of dorsal root ganglion, cranial ganglion or autonomic ganglion.
