Provided is the use of an anti-CGRP antagonist antibody in the manufacture of a medicament for the prevention and/or treatment of arthritic pain and/or symptoms of arthritic pain, wherein the medicament is prepared to be peripherally administered. The medicament can be administered subcutaneously or intravenously and in combination with other medicaments.
