STRAIGHT CUTTING AND STITCHING DEVICE

A straight cutting and stitching device comprising an upper clamp and a lower clamp that open or close with each other. Provided at the far end of the lower clamp is a staple chamber (1). A cutting groove (13) is provided on the staple chamber (1) in the axial direction thereof. The lower clamp is U-shaped. A staple-pushing rod and a cutter-pushing rod are slidably disposed inside of the lower clamp. Provided at the far end of the cutter-pushing rod is a cutter (2). Provided at the near end of the staple chamber (1) is a safety mechanism. The safety mechanism comprises a first pressing block (4) inside of the staple chamber (1), a triggering mechanism, and at least one elastic part. Provided at the bottom of the cutter (2) is a first notch (22). The first pressing block (4) moves inside of the staple chamber (1) lengthwise under the action of the elastic part and the triggering mechanism, such that the first pressing block (4) can selectably be locked with or separated from the first notch (22). The straight cutting and stitching device is simple in structure, convenient for processing, safe, and reliable, and has wide uses.
