In order to simplify the configuration of a fastener so that a detection device can identify the completion of fastening, the fastener (1), which can be connected to a car body (100) and a curtain airbag (102) that have attachment holes (101, 103), comprises: a main body (2) equipped with a leg (11) and a head (12), wherein a pin-accepting hole (21) is formed extending from the inside of the leg in the axial direction of the leg and opening on the outer surface of the head, and elastic tabs (34) are formed on the sides of the leg, said tabs protruding outward from the leg and engaging with the attachment holes and also being capable of slipping inside the pin-accepting hole as a result of elastic deformation; a pin (3) that is movably supported in the pin-accepting hole (21); and a cover (4) that is movably supported on the head and displaces the pin by being displaced. Slots (27) are formed in the cover. The cover has a different color from the pin and when the pin is displaced to a position that regulates the tilt of the elastic tabs, the pin is visible from the outside through the slots.
