RAHMEN BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING LONGITUDINAL AND LATERAL STEEL MEMBER

PURPOSE: A construction method of a rahmen bridge using longitudinal and lateral steel members is provided to reduce the amount of excavation by remarkably reducing the size of abutment portions. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a rahmen bridge using longitudinal and lateral steel members is as follows. Lateral steel members(200) are installed on the tops of piles(130) installed under abutment portions(100) which are to be installed. Two or more longitudinal steel members(300) are installed on the top surfaces of the lateral steel members to be horizontally separated from each other. Main girders(400) are connected between the longitudinal steel members. A slab and the abutment portions are completed by placing concrete to bury the tops of the main girders, the lateral steel members, and the longitudinal steel members. The girders, the lateral steel members, and the longitudinal steel members are integrally connected to each other.
