PURPOSE: A volatile organic compounds and industrial waste gas removing method using microwaves is provided to efficiently remove harmful gas and to minimize power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A volatile organic compound and industrial waste gas removing method includes the following: volatile organic compounds and industrial waste gas are collected; granular materials are removed from the collected product using a filter; organic materials are removed from the collected products by pyrolysis; and inorganic materials from the collected product are absorbed using caustic soda or ammonia in a dust collector. The removing method is implemented using a volatile organic compound and industrial waste gas removing apparatus. The apparatus includes one or more magnetrons(20), one or more heating elements, one or more reactors(40), heat insulating material(50), a heat insulating case, and a guiding partition(70).
