PURPOSE: A character transferring device using a game item and a method thereof are provided to store a generated character property value according to growth of a character in a game item, thereby freely performing a transaction. CONSTITUTION: When a predetermined character is grown, a character property value increasing unit(201) increases a property value of the corresponding character according to a growth degree. A game item storage processing unit(202) stores the increased property value of the character in a game item of the corresponding character capable of a transaction. A character transferring unit(203) transfers the property value of the stored character to other account. The property value of the character includes one character level.
