PURPOSE: An automatic transmission is provided to transfers power of an engine by installing a wet multiple-plate clutch between an input shaft and the engine. CONSTITUTION: A reduction planetary gear set(50) is connected to an input shaft. The reduction planetary gear set decelerates power of an engine. A complex planetary gear set(70) is installed between the reduction planetary gear set and an output shaft. A friction element is connected to the reduction planetary gear set and the complex planetary gear set. A wet multiple-plate clutch(30) is installed between the input shaft and the engine. A first ring gear is connected to the input shaft by the wet multiple-plate clutch. A first planetary gear is gear-connected to the first ring gear and is connected to the complex planetary gear set. A first sun gear is gear-connected to the first planetary gear and is connected to a case.
