The vehicle has a driving cab defined by a floor (1), a fire wall (2) and a swiveling side door (3) and provided with a footrest (6). The footrest is interdependently arranged with the side door, and projects from an inner face (3b) of the side door, so that the footrest is located in an area adjacent to a front part of the floor and a lower part (2a) of the fire wall when the side door is closed. The footrest is fixed in an area above a lower edge and near a front edge (3a) of the side door. The footrest is designed as rigid material piece or sheet part fixed at a lining of the door.
