<p>Provided is an X-ray image diagnostic apparatus on which an X-ray detector of a normal visual field size and a small-sized fine detail detector of a small visual field size are loaded, wherein increased speed of examination is possible even when using the small-sized fine detail detector. The apparatus has the functions of: displaying markers corresponding to the small visual field size of the fine detail detector on the image of the normal size X-ray detector (111); setting the ROI using said markers; and making a ceiling-traveling C-arm-maintaining device to track automatically so that the position of the set ROI is moved substantially to the center of the X-ray image. The positioning work, that is, the work of manually shifting positions so that the ROI is centered in the image obtained by the X-ray detector (111), which has been performed by hand in the past when switching to the small-sized fine detail detector, is thereby made unnecessary. Consequently, user-friendliness is improved and a highly manipulable system is provided.</p> |
