The present invention relates to a mixed gas production device, and the purpose thereof is to provide a mixed gas production device capable of simultaneously producing CO and H2 at a predetermined mixture ratio. As shown in Fig. 5, the higher the concentration of CO2 in an electrolytic solution is, the smaller the energy consumption rate of electrolysis is, while the higher the concentration of H+ in the electrolytic solution is, the larger the energy consumption rate of electrolysis is. Additionally, the higher the concentration of CO2 in the electrolytic solution is, the larger the energy consumption rate of CO2 concentration retention is. The sum of these two energy consumption rates is minimum at the CO2 concentration (concentration (C1)) shown by a dashed line in Fig. 5. Accordingly, cathode voltage control can be performed with excellent energy efficiency by setting a target CO2 concentration to the concentration (C1) and operating a CO2 pump (22) and a liquid feed pump (18). |
