摘要 An oxidant gas flow path (30) of a fuel cell (10) has an upstream portion configured as a plurality of groove flow paths (35b) and a downstream portion in which a gas diffusion porous body (26) is disposed. A fuel gas flow path (40) of the fuel cell (10) has an upstream portion configured as a plurality of another groove flow paths (45b) and a downstream portion in which another gas diffusion porous body (28) is disposed. A cooling medium flow path (50) is formed between a first separator (22) of each unit cell (12) of the fuel cell (10) and a second separator (24) of a unit cell (12) adjacent to the each unit cell (12). The direction toward which a cooling medium flows through the cooling medium flow path (50) is the same as the direction toward which an oxidant gas flows through the oxidant gas flow path (30). The upstream portion of the cooling medium flow path (50) is positioned closer to the surface of a membrane-electrode assembly (20) facing the oxidant gas flow path (30) adjacent to the cooling medium flow path (50), compared with the downstream portion of the cooling medium flow path (50).
