The invention relates to a gripper (1) for grasping and conveying objects while retaining said objects, and to a corresponding conveyor system and an operating method. The gripper (1) has a gripper body (10), a first gripper jaw, and a second gripper jaw. The gripper jaws each comprise at least one respective clamping region (22, 32), can assume an open state and a closed state relative to each other, and can exert a clamping force on each other or on the object to be grasped in the closed state. At least one control element (25, 35) is provided, which is able to interact with a control gate. At least one of the gripper jaws comprises a jaw body that is elastically deformable and is supported on the gripper body (10) in such a way that the jaw body (21, 31) assumes a defined spatial position (resting position) when force is not applied to the control element (25, 35) and deforms and is deflected from the resting position when force is applied to the control element (25, 35). The jaw body is preferably formed by a loop-like bow. |
