The device (1) has a support element (11) comprising a foot (12) arranged to be supported against a ground, and a median part provided with a support plane (13) arranged for partly receiving a lower face (22) of an existing vat (2). A free end of a post (14) is engaged in a part of a flange (21) of the vat. The support element comprises an opening provided on the support plane and another opening provided on a bottom face of the foot. A fastening element ensures integration between the support element and the vat. An independent claim is also included for a height-culture vat.
