An electric storage device (100) is provided with: an assembled battery (110), which includes a plurality of unit cells (111) that are connected in series; an assembled battery control unit (150), which estimates the internal resistance of the unit cells or the level relationship among the internal resistance of the unit cells (111); an assembled battery control unit (150), which calculates, by each of the unit cells (111), a discharge quantity such that an SOC after unit cell discharge is lower in the unit cells (111) having larger internal resistance estimated by means of the assembled battery control unit (150), or in the unit cells (111) estimated higher with respect to the internal resistance level relationship by means of the assembled battery control unit (150); and unit cell control units (121a, 121b), which make the unit cells discharge electricity, respectively, on the basis of the discharge quantities calculated by means of the assembled battery control unit (150).
