The invention relates to a sliding device enabling a user to slide over the snow, in particular, such as a snowboard. The device includes a board (1) to be in contact with the sliding base via one (1a) of the surfaces (1a, 1b) thereof. Said board extends longitudinally between a first and a second end (2, 3) over a developed length L. In addition, the board has two longitudinal edges (4, 5), which extend on either side of said board between the first and second ends. At least one of said longitudinal edges has a concave curvature having a radius of curvature R over at least a portion of the length thereof. Furthermore, the ratio R/L is substantially between 2.38 and 2.58, preferably substantially equal to 2.48. |
