FILLER PREFLOCCULATION EQUIPMENT FOR PAPER-MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A facility for pre-treating a filler and supplying the filler to a paper-making process line are provided to optically control input amount of polymers and to maintain or improve paper strength and bulk performance. CONSTITUTION: A facility for pre-treating a filler comprises: a main pipe(12) mounted to supply the filler into a paper-making process line(11); a first metering pump(14) which is mounted at the main pipe and transfers the filler; a filler supply unit(1) with a first flow meter(16) for detecting the amount of the filler transferred through the main pipe; a sub-pipe(32) for supplying the polymers; a second metering pump(34) which is mounted at the sub-pipe and transfers the polymers; a polymer supply unit(3) with a second flow meter(36) for detecting the amount of the polymers; a filler pretreatment unit(5) which is mounted at the main pipe; a granulometry part(7) for detecting particle size and distribution; and a controller(9) for controlling stirring speed.
