摘要 <p>Bistable electromagnetic drive for a switching device. The invention relates to electrical engineering and ensures a traction force of a drive whilst reducing the total current in the coil windings by 20-30% and ensuring operational reliability and safe operation. The drive comprises a bistable electromagnet (1) consisting of an immovable yoke part (2) with switch-on (3) and switch-off (4) coils arranged therein and at least one permanent magnet (5) and a movable yoke part (6) capable of connection to an actuating mechanism, and a device for controlling the bistable electromagnet, said device being capable of simultaneously connecting the windings of the coils (3) and (4) to at least one current source. The device comprises at least one element (9) for producing a set value for the current in the windings of the coils and is capable of simultaneously connecting the windings of the coils to the current source when the electromagnetic drive is switched on and off. When the electromagnetic drive is switched on and off, the winding of the switch-on (3)/switch-off (4) coil is connected to the current source directly, while the winding of the switch-off (4)/switch-on (3) coil is connected to the current source via the element (9).</p>
