A magnetic resonance imaging device relating to an embodiment comprises: an imaging condition setting unit; and an imaging unit. The imaging condition setting unit sets multiple slice positions, which are the same as in the past, for the same object to be inspected, and sets a top plate position of a bed, on which the object to be inspected is set, such that the position representing a specified slice position among the multiple slice positions or a position representing a specified slice range among the multiple slice positions coincides with a magnetic field center. The imaging unit collects magnetic resonance data from the multiple slice positions set for the object to be inspected at the top plate position of the bed, and, on the basis of the collected magnetic resonance data, generates image data corresponding to the multiple slice positions.
