<p>The present invention relates to the field of communications, and provides a service activating method and device. The service activating method comprises: a first service activating device receiving a service signal; the first service activating device identifying the type of the service signal, and performing synthesis on the service signal according to the identified type of the service signal and a received synthesis manner, so as to obtain a synthesized signal and configuration information thereof, the configuration information comprising the synthesis manner of the synthesized signal and the type of the service signal; and the first service activating device sending to a second service activating device the synthesized signal and the configuration information thereof. The embodiment of the present invention can implement automatic service activation, thereby saving the time of the service activation. The technical solution of the present invention is applicable to optical transport equipment.</p> |
