<p>The present invention is provided with: a carriage (1) having a lifting device (4) on which a vehicle body (W) is placed in a liftable and lowerable manner and moving on a vehicle body conveyance line at a floor level; a placement pallet (6) on which a power plant (P) is placed; and a transfer means for transferring the placement pallet (6) onto the carriage (1). The placement pallet (6) is transferred onto the carriage (1) by the transfer means with the vehicle body (W) lifted by the lifting device (4), the vehicle body (W) is lowered by the lifting device (4), and then the upper mounting section of the power plant (P) and a mounting hole on the vehicle body side are fastened together to integrate the power plant (P) and the vehicle body (W). After that, the vehicle body (W) is lifted by the lifting device (4), and the lower mounting section of the power plant (P) and the mounting hole on the vehicle body side are fastened together.</p> |
