摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space by reducing a number of components compared with a conventional parallax barrier type stereoscopic display device. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic display device comprises a light source device which emits light for image display to a display section 1. The light source device comprises a light source 2 and a light guide plate 3. The light guide plate 3 comprises a first internal reflection face 3A and a second internal reflection face 3B. The first internal reflection face 3A comprises: a total reflection area 32 which makes a light beam entering with an incidence angle satisfying prescribed total reflection conditions perform total internal reflection; and a scattering area 31 which makes at least a part of the light beam entering with an incidence angle satisfying prescribed total reflection conditions in the total reflection area 32 emit to the outside.
