<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for testing cracking of a power generation cell in which a cracking test of a circular flat plate type power generation cell is performed under the same temperature condition as that of an actual fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: In the cracking test device in which a circular flat plate type power generation cell 1 is arranged between a pair of separators 2, and the separators 2 are heated to evaluate cracking of the power generation cell 1, the pair of separators 2 are formed into a disc shape, at least one annular recess 2a formed on a concentric circle is formed on the surfaces opposite to the power generation cell 1, respectively, and on the side of the rear surfaces 2c of respective plane parts 2b divided in the radial direction by the annular recesses 2a, heaters 4 capable of being controlled to be heated each independently are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
