<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method capable of stably performing continuous optical communication. <P>SOLUTION: A non-contact communication device 40 is provided with: a light-emitting element 7 which converts a transmission signal to an optical signal 20 and emits light in a first direction 20a; plural light-receiving elements 2 which are provided so as to be movable relatively in a second direction 2a crossing the first direction 20a, receives the optical signal 20, and outputs a received signal; and a composition part 3 which composes the received signal from the plural light-receiving elements 2.
