摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of efficiently radiating fluorescence by restraining transmission of excitation light and self-absorption of the fluorescence and making a wavelength range of emission light as desired. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device radiating fluorescence of a specific wavelength region is provided with excitation light sources radiating excitation light of the same polarizing directions, phosphors radiating fluorescence of specific wavelength regions by the excitation light, and a light-transmitting substrate holding the phosphors. The excitation light passes through the phosphors and the substrate to radiate fluorescence, while, the substrate has a reflective polarization and separation element fitted on one of the faces at a side where the excitation light is incident, and a reflecting layer for transmitting the fluorescence and reflecting the excitation light fitted on the other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
