<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility of failure in transmitting a frame. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus comprises a reception part, a route information table, a registration part, an acquisition part, and a transmission part. The reception part receives a route information frame which notifies route information of a network, and a first frame which is not the route information frame. The route information table records the route information included in the route information frame. The registration part associates a transmission source address with an address of a transfer source apparatus which transfers the first frame to the reception part to register them in a registration table, when the transmission source address of the first frame is not included in the route information table. The acquisition part acquires the address of a transfer source apparatus which is registered in association with an address of a destination device from the registration table when transmitting a second frame where a destination device which is not registered in the route information table is determined as a destination.
