<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access method, repository, program and system secure to digital work. <P>SOLUTION: When first and second registration transactions between a requester repository and a server repository are successful, the requester repository starts use transaction about use by a requester repository of digital work stored in the server repository, and the server repository determines whether a use right corresponding to a predetermined use purpose about an access request is attached to the digital work requested by the access request.
