<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reinforce both ends of a brace core material. <P>SOLUTION: A brace core material 1 and a second buckling restraining member 3 are fixed at one part in a longitudinal direction, and the brace core material 1 and the second buckling restraining member 3 are freely movable at parts other than the fixed part 5 at one part in the longitudinal direction. Both ends of the brace core material 1 are projected from both ends of a first buckling restraining member 2 and the second buckling restraining member 3 and turned to a connection part 4. On both ends of the brace core material 1, a reinforcing member 12 for which a restraining part 13 is continuously protruded from one end in the longitudinal direction is provided such that it extends from the outside of a groove 11 to the inside of the groove 11 and the restraining part 13 is positioned inside the groove 11. The reinforcing member 12 is fixed to the brace core material 1 outside the groove 11 and inside the groove 11.
