<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage to a wiring 34 while satisfying a request for thinning. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel 10 having a display surface 12 and a rear surface 14 opposite to the display surface 12; a light guide plate 52 that is disposed keeping away from a space below the end part of the liquid crystal display panel 10 on the rear surface 14 side of the liquid crystal display panel 10; a flexible wiring board 26 having a part disposed with an interval below the end part of the liquid crystal display panel 10; a light source 58 for guiding light into the light guide plate 52, mounted on the face of the liquid crystal display panel 10 side of the flexible wiring board 26 at a position below the end part of the liquid crystal display panel 10; and a reinforcement plate 62 that is located next to the light source 58 at the opposite side to the light guide plate 52 and attached on the face on which the light source 58 of the flexible wiring board 26 is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
