<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing apparatus which does not require a tablet. <P>SOLUTION: A drawing apparatus comprises a stylus pen 1 and a display device 5. The stylus pen 1 includes a flexible shaft portion 11b that bends during writing, the flexible shaft portion 11b includes plural piezoelectric elements 11c for charging, and an entire or a part of the piezoelectric elements 11c are configured to be sensors A to D. When writing in a state in which pressure is applied to a pen tip 12a, a synchronization signal and a data signal that corresponds to a moving direction of the stylus pen 1 detected by the sensors A to D are transmitted to the display device 5. The display device 5 displays traces corresponding to movement of the stylus pen 1 while synchronizing the traces with the movement of the stylus pen 1.
