<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large roof device of a grand piano for raising a sound effect by flexibly adjusting an open state of a large roof and increasing variation of the shape of the large roof as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: A large roof device 1 of a grand piano which is attached to a side plate of a piano body and includes a large roof 3 for opening/closing the top surface of the piano body, includes: a plurality of roof pieces 4 each of which extends in the horizontal direction, mutually arranged in parallel in the cross direction, and constitutes the large roof 3; and a roof piece support device 5 which is fixed to a side plate, supports the respective roof pieces 4 to be rotatable centering around a first axis line horizontally extending in the cross direction at one end of right and left, and supports the respective roof pieces 4 to be rotatably centering around a second axis line 7a extending in the extension direction of the roof pieces 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
