PROPULSION ENERGIZING DEVICE AND SHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propulsion energizing device and a ship including the same that can improve total fuel efficiency by assisting the drive of a propeller of the ship.

SOLUTION: The propeller 1 of the ship is energized to drive by driving force of a motor 58 in which a rechargeable battery 55 is charged by electric power generated by a solar panel 52 using solar energy, and to which electric power is supplied through a DC/AC inverter 57 from either or both of the solar panel 52 or the rechargeable battery 55. The driving force of the motor 58 is changed to small/large corresponding to high/low rotational number of a main shaft 31 of a main engine 3 and electric power of the motor 58 is not supplied when the rotational number of the main shaft 31 of the main engine 3 is higher than the set value of the rotational number with respect to a governor 4.
