<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation shield member of a cyclotron for a PET (positron emission tomography) diagnosis capable of facilitating future dismantlement, removal, and disposal of the shield member and facilitating on-site installation work and dismantling and removal work. <P>SOLUTION: The periphery and the upper part of a cyclotron 2 for producing radioisotopes is enclosed by a shield member body 4. A space 5 to be filled with water W is formed inside the shield member body 4 and the space 5 is filled with the water W.
