<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of irregular color by contraction when ferroelectric liquid crystal is returned to a room temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display element comprises a seal member 3 forming a liquid crystal injection hole, and a substrate 1 and a substrate 2 that are stuck to each other at predetermined intervals, with the seal member 3. Adhesive 11 served as a stress member is applied to both side faces of the liquid crystal display element, calcinated, and hardened. After liquid crystal is injected under vacuum and high-temperature environment, it is returned to the room temperature, and the stress member is partially removed. Thereby, the interval between the substrate 1 and the substrate 2 is uniformized. This constitution can uniformly retain the substrate interval of the liquid crystal panel so as to prevent the generation of the irregular color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
