<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television intercom system which can be connected to a network camera, a network, an indoor unit, a security device, a storage device and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The television intercom system includes: an entrance slave unit with camera 1a, a master unit with monitor 2a, and a router 9 connecting the entrance slave unit with camera and the master unit with monitor for relaying a video signal and a sound signal, which are transmitted between the entrance slave unit with camera and the master unit with monitor. The router 9 includes: a first group of connection terminals 91 for connecting the plurality of entrance slave units with cameras and the plurality of master units with monitors without the need of conversion of an interphone communication protocol; a second group of connection terminals 92 for connecting a network camera 3 transmitting the video signal; a first signal conversion section 99a for converting a general-purpose network protocol into the interphone communication protocol; and a control section 99 for forming a signal transmission path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
