<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one of handling methods if there is no problem in use although a circuit or a device has a portion that is not applied to the specification or standard. <P>SOLUTION: An integrated circuit includes an input/output circuit and a timing measuring circuit. A first signal inputted to a first input terminal of the input/output circuit and a second signal outputted from a first output terminal of the input/output circuit are inputted to the timing measuring circuit. The second signal is obtained by outputting a signal in a first input/output terminal of the input/output circuit from the first output terminal. In the timing measuring circuit, a first change in the first signal is detected and a second change, corresponding to the first change, in the second signal is detected.
