摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flame sensor, by which a flame sensor using a UV tube having a pair of electrodes can be reduced in size and the electrodes can be stably positioned. <P>SOLUTION: The method aims to manufacture a flame sensor using a UV tube, which includes a pair of electrodes, a plurality of lead wires holding the electrodes, a button stem where the plurality of lead wires penetrate, and a cup-like glass joined with the button stem to have a space sealing the pair of electrodes. In a step of joining the cup-like glass having the above space to the button stem at a high temperature, external force is applied while the plurality of lead wires protruding outside the UV tube is fixed to maintain a specified posture. Thereby, the flame sensor can be reduced in size and can be manufactured with high accuracy while stable positioning of electrodes can be performed even when thermal influences during sealing the glass are given to the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
