<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock capable of detecting the rotational position of a top joint without using a mechanical switch. <P>SOLUTION: An inventive electric lock 1 includes a top joint 6 rotated by a drive motor and a dead bolt advancing/retreating according to rotation of the top joint 6. The electric lock 1 comprises: a section to be detected 28 having a plurality of series K1 to K4 formed concentrically around a rotation axis of the top joint 6; a plurality of sensors having a light projector and a light receiver oppositely arranged with the section to be detected 28 sandwiched therebetween respectively so as to correspond to each of the series K1 to K4; and control means for identifying the rotational position of the top joint 6 according to the detection pattern of each sensor. Each of the series K1 to K4 of the section to be detected 28 is formed such that arrangement patterns of screen parts 30 shielding light and through-holes 31 passing light are different from each other, and the sensors detect the different detection patterns respectively according to the rotational position of the top joint 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
