The method involves manufacturing a multilayer hollow profile braid (10) on a braiding mandrel (4) in a braiding pultrusion plant (20), where the hollow profile braid comprises a hybrid fiber roving (1), reinforcing fibers and thermoplastic matrix material. The hollow profile braid is removed from the braiding mandrel and positioned on a mold core. The hollow profile braid is mounted in a consolidation tool (5) by a trigger device (7) of the braiding pultrusion, where the profile braid passes through temperature control devices (8, 8a, 8b, 8c) in the consolidation tool.
