PURPOSE: A multipurpose checking apparatus for a water supply pipeline under the water supply is provided to remarkably reduce installation and maintenance costs by installing a pipeline inside an existing valve room. CONSTITUTION: A multipurpose checking apparatus(10) for a water supply pipe under the water supply comprises a valve case(20), lower and upper fixing rackets(31,32), fixing members(34), a packing(35), a connection socket(36), a globular upper body(37), and an opening and closing knob(38). The lower and upper fixing brackets fix the valve case to a pipeline(P). The fixing members fix the lower and upper fixing brackets to the outer edge surface of the pipeline. The packing is installed on a branch pipe(33) of the upper fixing bracket and seals the surroundings of a branch passage(33a). The connection socket is coupled to the branch pipe and has a connection hole(36a) connected to the branch passage. The globular upper body is rotatably installed inside the valve case and has an opening and closing hole(37a) connected to the connection hole of the connection socket. The opening and closing knob rotates the globular upper body. |
