<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element, which can be manufactured easily and inexpensively, such as a high-quality color filter or an organic EL without display defects such as a void of a functional layer or color mixture, in an application method, which can be used for a large substrate, such as an ink-jet method with high efficiency in using materials, and to provide a method for manufacturing the optical element. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing an optical element having partition patterns 20 that are formed of hardened resin and partition off the surface of a support substrate 10 into a plurality of areas 30, and a plurality of pixels that are formed in the areas 30. The method includes: a step for partitioning areas in which the areas 30 are partitioned on the surface of the support substrate 10 by ink-repellent resin compositions; and a step for microwave irradiation in which the resin compositions that have partitioned off the areas 30 on the surface of the support substrate 10 through the step for partitioning areas are irradiated with microwaves to cause the acceleration of the hardening of the resin compositions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
