<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump, in which manufacture of a supply structure of working fluid to a back face side of an impeller is facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: The water pump includes: an impeller 20 constituted by fixing a plurality of blades 201 or the like to one side face (a face on a side in a positive direction of an x axis) of a plate-like bottom part 200; and a housing HSG having a pump chamber R1 rotatably housing the impeller 20, and a communication chamber R22 disposed on the another side face side (on a side in a negative direction of the x axis) of the bottom part 200. The communication chamber R22: faces heat generation elements (bearings 8, 9 and a coil 300); communicates with the pump chamber R1 through a communication passage r between the bottom part 200 and an inner peripheral face of the housing HSG; and has a wall face 62 facing an outer periphery of the impeller 20 at a right angle relative to a rotational axis O of the impeller 20, the wall face 62 being formed to the inner peripheral face of the housing HSG (a first motor housing 6a) so that the working fluid (cooling water) flowing along the wall face 62 according to rotation of the impeller 20 passes through the communication passage r and flows into the communication chamber R22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
