<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a program capacity by preventing the number of commands from increasing in a game machine including a plurality of variable display sections. <P>SOLUTION: A game control microcomputer 560 transmits a common variation pattern command in both of variation display of a first special symbol and variation display of a second special symbol. Contrarily, the game control microcomputer 560 transmits a first display result designation command in the variation display of the first special symbol, and transmits a second display result designation command in the variation display of the second special symbol.
