<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of maintaining high power supply conversion efficiency even in a light load state and saving energy. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply device comprises: plural converters (8) of which inputs are commonly connected to an input power supply (5); a current detection circuit (2) which is connected between a commonly connected output of the plural converters and a load (6), and detects a load current; and a control circuit (9) which calculates a number of the converters (8) operating in parallel according to the load current value detected by the current detection circuit (2), and regarding the converters (8) to be operated, supplies a signal to turn on/off switching elements of the converters, and regarding the converters (8) to be stopped, fixes the signal to turn on/off the switching elements of the converters to an off state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
