<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protective airbag device that prevents an increase in volume of an inflation shielding part as much as possible, and properly restrains an occupant using the inflation shielding part at the time of roll-over. <P>SOLUTION: In the head protective airbag device M, an airbag 19 includes an inflation shielding part 20 that expands and inflates to cover the inside of windows W1, W2, and an attachment part 33 to be attached to an upper edge of the windows W1, W2. The inflation shielding part 20 includes a support inflation part 28 whose outside lower end is supported by a member 8 constituting a lower edge of a belt line BL, and arranged in an area of a vehicle pillar part FP at the front end to be formed in a substantially bar shape substantially along a completely inflated shape vertically, when the airbag 19 is completely inflated. When the airbag 19 is completely inflated, the outside lower end 28b of the support inflation part 28 is supported by the member 8 constituting the lower edge of the belt line BL, and outside upper end 28a thereof is supported by the pillar part FP. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
