<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly suppress or prevent generation of a surface flaw whose generation cannot be suppressed by a conventional way. <P>SOLUTION: A rolling machine 1 includes: rolling rolls 2 rolling a rolled material W; a winding roll 3 disposed downstream of the rolling rolls 2, and winding the rolled material W; and a deflector roll 5 changing a feeding direction of the rolled material W rolled by the rolling rolls 2 to guide it to the winding roll 3. In this rolling method, when performing the rolling by use of the rolling machine 1, a generation state of the surface flaw H generated in the rolled material W wound around the winding roll 3 is detected, and one end of the deflector roll 5 is moved to a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the deflector roll 5 to the other end based on the detected generation state of the surface flaw H, so that the generation of the surface flaw H can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
